How to Access and Start Answering Assessment Questions
This guide explains how to navigate from your main dashboard to a specific assessment and begin the answering process. By following these steps, you can locate specific domains (such as Purpose or People) and launch the question interface to input your maturity levels and evidence.
Prerequisites
- You must have an active user account.
- An assessment must already be created and listed in your "Assessments" overview (usually in "Draft" status).
Step-by-Step Guide

Navigate to the Assessments Menu
From your main Dashboard, look at the sidebar on the left-hand side. Click on the Assessments tab to open your list of current projects. -
Select Your Assessment
In the "Assessments" list view, identify the specific assessment you wish to work on (e.g., "My Assessment Name"). Click anywhere on the assessment row to open its detailed view. -
Switch to the "Start Assessment" Tab
Once inside the assessment details, you will see a navigation bar at the top with options like "General Info" and "Interim Results." Click on the Start Assessment tab to access the working area. -
Choose a Domain or Aspect
Scroll down to the "Aspect Progress" section. Here you will see various cards representing different aspects of the assessment (e.g., Purpose, Business Drivers, Customers). Locate the aspect you want to address and click the blue Start button on that card. -
Launch the Question Interface
A preview window will appear listing the specific questions associated with that aspect. Click the Start button at the bottom of this window to proceed.

You will now be directed to the Assessment Question screen. Here, you can read the specific question definition, select the "Standard Maturity" level, add notes, and upload evidence documents to support your answer.
