How to Edit Assessment Information
Keeping your assessment data accurate is crucial for maintaining organized records. This guide explains how to modify the core details of an existing assessment—such as the Client Name, Description, or Date—after it has already been created. This is particularly useful when scope changes occur or when correcting initial entry errors.
Prerequisites
- You must be logged into your account.
- You must have an existing assessment with "Draft" or editable status.
Step-by-Step Guide
-
Navigate to the Assessments Module
From the main dashboard, locate the left-hand navigation sidebar and click on Assessments. This will open the list of all current assessments associated with your organization. -
Select the Assessment
Browse the list to find the specific assessment you wish to modify. Click on the Assessment Name (e.g., "My Assessment Name") to open the detailed view. -
Enter Edit Mode
Scroll down to the section labeled Assessment Information. In the top right corner of this section, click the Edit button. The fields within this card will switch from read-only to interactive text boxes. -
Update the Information
Locate the specific field you need to change. In this example, we are updating the Client Name field. Type your new information or modify the existing text as required. -
Save Your Changes
Once you have finished updating the details, click the blue Save button located in the top right corner of the Assessment Information card.
Tips / Outcome
- Confirmation: Immediately after clicking save, a green notification banner will appear at the bottom right of your screen stating: "Assessment information Updated - Your changes have been saved successfully."
- Verification: The Assessment Information card will return to read-only mode, displaying your newly updated text.
